Program Director- Resident Camp (Full Time)- Camp Potawotami

Camp Potawatomi is a traditional overnight Summer Camp, Outdoor Education, and Retreat Center. The Camp Program Director will be responsible for overseeing all camp programs, including budget management, recruitment, hiring, training, evaluation, program development, and marketing. Our season runs from April to October each year, with winter months dedicated to projects, planning, and preparation. We are seeking a candidate with camp leadership experience who is a team player, values this position as vital to the camp experience, and is passionate about developing others. Candidates must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne. Requirements include: Must be 25 or older with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Bachelor’s Degree or related experience Minimum of 3 years of overnight camping experience Experience in staff management and leading others Knowledge or ability to gain knowledge in programs such as Equestrian, Lifeguard, Rifles, Archery, Scuba, Snorkeling, High Ropes
