Director of Information Technology
to lead its IT function. This individual will have a track record of leading IT teams that add value to organizations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a forward-thinking IT strategy that aligns with business goals and drives long-term value.
Set the direction for IT operations by defining goals, policies, and procedures that support scalable growth.
Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party technology partners, overseeing service quality, data security, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with internal leaders and external vendors to assess future technology needs, including systems and infrastructure to support business expansion.
Offer guidance on strategic technology initiatives and keep the organization informed on emerging IT trends.
Oversee the IT budget, resource allocation, and performance indicators to ensure operational efficiency.
Work with IT providers to ensure systems and infrastructure are secure, reliable, scalable, and well-supported.
Lead efforts in digital modernization and identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
Introduce and adopt new tools and platforms that enhance business capabilities and competitive advantage.
Guide the overall direction and administration of ERP systems to ensure they meet current and evolving business requirements.
Create and enforce IT policies, standards, and governance protocols that meet regulatory and industry standards.
Build and lead a high-performing IT team and manage vendor relationships to foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and learning.
Act as a key liaison between IT and business leadership to align priorities and drive collaboration across departments.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
At least 7 years of progressive leadership experience in IT roles, preferably within manufacturing, industrial services, or construction.
Strong ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams and lead through influence.
Track record of shaping and executing strategic initiatives that align with broader organizational objectives.
Familiarity with SAP is a huge plus
Experience leading technology integration efforts during mergers or acquisitions is highly beneficial.
