About the Role As a Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the holistic omni customer experience in your store, ensuring high visual and commercial standards according to the store format, location, and global & regional strategies. You will lead the full store team to excel, creating an inclusive culture that promotes collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit. You will analyze sales and follow up on results, creating plans to optimize profits. A Day in the Life Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but typical responsibilities include: Managing the total OMNI customer experience, ensuring visual and commercial standards. Representing the brand positively during customer interactions. Establishing, analyzing, and following up on sales and budget goals. Providing personal customer service and guiding customers through fashion stories. Promoting the Customer Loyalty App and sustainability initiatives. Planning staff schedules according to sales targets. Ensuring proper routines at fitting rooms and checkout. Identifying commercial opportunities and maintaining competitor awareness. Managing store maintenance cost-effectively. Handling administrative routines accurately. Fashion & Trend Awareness Keeping up with fashion trends, styles, and competitors. Ensuring the team provides product and fashion knowledge. Understanding local customer and market dynamics. Team & Development Talent and performance management, including recruiting, onboarding, and development. Conducting performance evaluations and succession planning. Sharing knowledge and skills with the team. Collaborating with the area and store leadership teams. Communicating effectively and professionally. Planning and scheduling team activities. Participating in onboarding, training, and development programs. Retail Operations/Visual & Commercial Execution Maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Ensuring high-quality visual and product presentation. Managing stock levels and supporting allocation decisions. Overseeing daily opening and closing routines. Managing the full garment cycle and fitting room routines. Utilizing in-store technology and OMNI services effectively. Maintaining accurate price signage and store information. Qualifications Strong leadership skills and responsibility-taking. Effective in team coaching and development. Experience in retail management and operations.
