The Director of CRM, Marketing Automation & Analytics will support the strategic direction and execution of marketing automation, CRM solutions, and analytics platforms to support Emory Healthcare's marketing team. This role focuses on optimizing backend systems and infrastructure to ensure seamless automation workflows, efficient data management, and robust analytics reporting. The Director will lead a team of technical professionals, including CRM Business Solutions Architects, Senior Marketing Automation Architects, and Marketing Business Intelligence Developers, ensuring that marketing platforms are fully integrated and optimized for enterprise-wide efficiency. Key Responsibilities Marketing Automation & CRM Optimization
Lead the strategy and management of CRM platforms and marketing automation tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, etc.), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and seamless integration with other marketing technologies. Oversee the configuration, management, and optimization of automated workflows, audience segmentation, lead scoring, and customer journeys. Ensure marketing automation systems are scalable, reliable, and capable of supporting business objectives, particularly in patient engagement and service-line growth. Work with cross-functional teams and internal Salesforce Center of Excellence to align CRM roadmap with institutional goals and best practices.
Analytics & Data Management
Guide the team in developing and maintaining reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics solutions that provide actionable insights into campaign performance, customer behavior, and marketing ROI. Work with the team to develop analytics that ensure CRM platform health and data integrity. Ensure accurate, real-time data collection and reporting, facilitating data-driven decision-making across the marketing team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing data is seamlessly integrated with other business intelligence systems across Emory Healthcare.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage a team of backend specialists including CRM Business Solutions Architects, Marketing Automation Architects, and Business Intelligence Developers. Provide leadership, mentorship, and career development opportunities for team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Platform Governance & Integration
Ensure governance of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems, establishing best practices for data quality, platform utilization, and system integration. Work with IT and other departments to ensure smooth integration of marketing technologies, maintaining data integrity across all systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in marketing automation, CRM management, and/or data analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience with Salesforce platforms, including Salesforce Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and strong knowledge of CRM integrations.
Skills & Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and backend data management. Strong analytical skills with experience in developing and maintaining reporting dashboards. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field (preferred). Familiarity with analytics tools like Tableau, Google Analytics, or other BI platforms. Knowledge of Data Cloud, Customer Data Platforms, data lakes, cloud storage, and HIPAA compliance (preferred).
