Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a biotechnology company to identify a Senior Accountant joining their newly opened Boston office.

Base pay

Location: Boston, MA

Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries for the company and its subsidiaries
• Review journal entries created by a Staff Accountant
• Reconcile bank statements and intercompany transactions
• Manage prepaid, debt accounting, and lease accounting processes
• Prepare and review balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
• Ensure GAAP compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or experience equivalent (4+ years)
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience with a minimum of 2 years owning the month-end close
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or a similar ERP
• Proficiency with Concur or a similar product is a plus
