Early Childhood Teacher - Palo Alto, CA Back-Up Center in Palo Alto hiring for a Teacher to work with all ages infant to school-age. Hiring incentive: $3000

Responsibilities:
Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones
Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:
Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field preferred
12 Child Development units completed: Child Development, Child, Family, and Community, Introduction to Curriculum, and Principles and Practices. Infant or Toddler position requires Infant and Toddler Development class
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP)
Transcripts required at time of hire
AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred

Physical Requirements:
Compliance with applicable immunizations, health screenings, and safety training is required. You will work in person in an early education/preschool center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons policies and applicable laws.

SALARY/HOURLY RATE AND OTHER COMPENSATION DISCLOSURES :
The hourly rate ranges from $25.75 to $31.45 per hour. Actual compensation offers depend on experience, education, certifications, geography, and other factors.
Incentives: This position is eligible for a $3000 hiring incentive payable after 100 days of employment.
