Early Childhood Teacher - Palo Alto, CA Back-Up Center in Palo Alto hiring for a Teacher to work with all ages infant to school-age. Unique schedules available Growth opportunities State-of-the-art centers Ability to support families in their time of need Responsibilities: Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines Qualifications: Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements: At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field preferred 12 Child Development units completed: Child Development, Child, Family, and Community, Introduction to Curriculum, and Principles and Practices. Infant or Toddler position requires Infant and Toddler Development class Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) Transcripts required at time of hire AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred Join us to create a safe, nurturing environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. Physical Requirements: Compliance with applicable immunizations, health screenings, and safety training is required. SALARY/HOURLY RATE AND OTHER COMPENSATION DISCLOSURES : The hourly rate ranges from $25.75 to $31.45 per hour. Actual compensation offers depend on experience, education, certifications, geography, and other factors. Incentives: This position is eligible for a $3000 hiring incentive payable after 100 days of employment.
