Psychiatrist (MD) Outpatient - Full-Time or Part-Time

Job Details

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for adults and children.
• Review medication prescriptions and implement various therapeutic modalities.
• Collaborate with counselors and therapists to support patients' mental health journeys.
• Participate in treatment planning, reviews, and ongoing communication with the treatment team and patients.
• Understand mental health laws and connect patients with community resources.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with approved psychiatry residency.
• Current medical license in Alabama.
• Experience with treating severely mentally ill and substance abuse patients.
• Knowledge of mental health laws and community resources.
• Willingness to learn electronic medical records systems.
• Excellent communication skills and empathetic listening.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).

Additional Information

• Flexible scheduling with the ability to see 15-25 patients daily.
• Competitive salary range: $100,000 - $400,000 per year.
• Entry-level position, part-time employment.
