Overview Accounting Manager - Norfolk, VA . This is a full-time, permanent Accounting Manager opportunity. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will oversee a team of 2-4, maintaining responsibility for daily accounting activities, including inventory related reports and job cost accounting. The Accounting Manager will provide support for month-end close and work closely with the Controller to complete financial reporting. This role will be in office 5 days/week in Norfolk, VA. We are seeking an Accounting Manager who has the capacity and desire for continued career growth. Solid experience with job cost accounting, inventory related accounting operations, G/L and GAAP knowledge is necessary, as is the ability to manage people, analyze data and develop reports. Skilled use of MS Excel, QuickBooks and/or Deltek CostPoint is ideal.
