Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Job Title: Accounting Manager Location: Fully remote Job Type: Full-time, permanent (Direct Hire) Department: Finance & Accounting Reports To: Controller Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and procedures, with proven hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central . This role requires excellent analytical skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage a small team and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings. Prepare and review financial statements and management reports. Maintain compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. Manage and support audits, tax filings, and budget preparation. Optimize and maintain accounting processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including workflows, financial reporting, and integration with other business systems. Train and support staff in the use of Dynamics 365 Business Central. Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive implementation. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and executive leadership to support business goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred). Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is required. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
