Growing family-owned construction firm in San Diego (Mira Mesa area) has an immediate need for an Accounting Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting, job costing, financial reporting, and compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred) 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in construction or a project-based industry to include at least two years construction experience Strong knowledge of GAAP, job costing, and construction accounting principles Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, BuildOps, Viewpoint, or similar) and Microsoft Excel Proficiency in construction specific ERP systems Familiarity with union/non-union payroll and certified payroll reporting a plus.
