The Software Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on assisting the Air Force move forward with digital transformation. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Responsibilities Design and implement new capabilities Rapidly develop prototypes for customer feedback Resolve issues found in existing code Integrate capabilities with external services and tools Participate in code reviews and mentor team members Communicate status and technical details with customer Required Qualifications 3+ years experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant STEM field Active TS/SCI security clearance Ability to communicate technical details of work Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills Experience with RESTful web services Experience with server-side languages, preference toward Python Experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks, preference toward Angular Experience with version control software (ex Git) Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA Desired Experience Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab CI or Jenkins Experience with Docker (containerized deployment) Experience utilizing SQL and NoSQL Databases Secret Security Clearance or higher EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Defense and Space Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
