Job: Phlebotomist I

Location: Huntington, NY 11743

Duration: 2+ Months

Shift: A Schedule 7-3:30 pm; B Schedule 7-2 pm Sat 7-12 pm

Responsibilities

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Must be flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Work Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience. One (+) year of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
• Additional Details: Must be able to use straight needles and a computer EMR program.
