Job: Phlebotomist I

Duration: 3 Months

Shift: Alternating week schedule

A schedule: M-F 7 am-2:30 pm, Sat 6 am-12 pm

B schedule: M-F 6 am-2:30 pm

Location: Seaford, NY 11783

Job Description

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience

• Minimum of 6 months of experience.
• One or more year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.

Additional Job Details

• Must be able to use a straight needle.
