Open Rank – Pediatric Nocturnist (St. Joseph's Hospital)
Join the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. This full‑time, pediatric nocturnist role will provide overnight clinical care, teaching, and participation in quality and leadership programs at St. Joseph Children’s Hospital.

Responsibilities
Provide overnight patient care at St. Joseph Children’s Hospital, including admissions, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment of complex pediatric patients.
Teach and supervise residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers as part of the residency teaching program.
Participate in the hospital quality program and other educational and hospital‑based leadership opportunities.
Maintain a full, unrestricted Florida medical license, and meet the faculty practice plan and hospital credentialing requirements.
Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.
Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
Minimum of 12 months of recent inpatient clinical care experience required.
Must hold or be eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License or foreign equivalent required.
Must be Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics.
Experience with pediatric hospital medicine and overnight shift work preferred.
