Labor & Employment Partner – Atlanta, GA
Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Partner to join its Atlanta office. This client is one of the top law firms our team works with and we have placed a majority of the partners in the Atlanta office.
The ideal candidate will have a strong practice advising employers on the full spectrum of workplace issues, as well as experience managing litigation, compliance, and risk mitigation for clients across industries. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic platform with a national presence and strong cross-practice collaboration.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic counsel to employers on all aspects of labor and employment law, including discrimination, wage and hour compliance, workplace policies, and employee relations.
Manage complex employment litigation and administrative matters before federal and state courts and agencies.
Draft and negotiate employment, severance, and restrictive covenant agreements.
Build and expand client relationships through exceptional service, thought leadership, and business development initiatives.
Supervise and mentor associates and other team members within the practice group.
Contribute to firm growth by leveraging an existing book of business and participating in business development initiatives.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school; admission to the Georgia Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
10+ years of experience in labor and employment law, including both counseling and litigation.
Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver practical, business-focused legal advice.
Portable book of business strongly preferred; growth-oriented partners with partial practices will also be considered.
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Experience working collaboratively across offices and practice groups a plus.
Compensation Highly competitive, commensurate with experience and practice value, including performance-based partnership compensation and comprehensive benefits.
