WHO WE ARE FIMER, based in Florence and Milan, Italy, was established in 1942 and has been at the forefront of manufacturing Residential, Commercial & Industrial, and Utility Scale PV inverters as well as Electric Vehicle chargers. Following the acquisition and integration of ABB’s solar inverter business in the first quarter of 2020, and under the renewed FIMER brand, our portfolio has continued to include solar inverter products carrying the ABB brand under a trademark license agreement.

JOB SUMMARY AND SCOPE Summary: Challenging position that requires motivated individual to oversee all new product sale activities within the US for the FIMER manufacturing company. Chosen applicant will be responsible for year over year sales of FIMER inverters, will provide all sales forecasting and act as the senior sales person within the US organization. Will develop business plans including the building of the overall sales structure within the US. Applicant will join the overall senior management team within the US operational structure and support all country strategies as appropriate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Residential, Commercial Product Lines : Provide overall direction for US sales across the residential and commercial product lines. Responsible for developing the US based requirements (including UL and other certifications required to sell in the US market) for the product development team in the Valdarno, Italy factory. Responsible for product launches, technical sales support, customer training, stocking levels, channel and distribution sales agreements, sales projection as well as all other duties and responsibilities required to operate an efficient and successful inverter sales organization.

Utility Product Lines : Provide overall direction for US sales across the utility product lines. Responsible for developing the US based requirements (including UL and other certifications required to sell in the US market) for the product development team in the Bangalore, India factory. Responsible for product launches, technical sales support, customer training, stocking levels, channel and distribution sales agreements, sales projection as well as all other duties and responsibilities required to operate an efficient and successful inverter sales organization.

Leadership and Management Responsibilities : Act as an independent evaluator of FIMER US business with an emphasis on all sales related topics. Develop and provide input on short term, mid-term and long-term strategies to ensure a healthy and prosperous company. Innovate new strategies that play to individual team strengths, use outside the box thinking to set the sale trends within the industry. Support Country Manager with direct planning and strategies that optimize sales offerings and operations within the industry.
