We are representing a global leader in specialty chemical manufacturing, operating across 30+ countries with a team of more than 10,000 employees worldwide. This organization is renowned for its innovation and technical excellence in the chemical resins space, producing high-performance materials including epoxy, polyester, acrylic, and phenolic resins used in coatings, adhesives, composites, and construction products.

As part of their North American leadership team, they are now hiring a dynamic and strategic Head of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain operations from their key site near Houston, Texas.

About the Role This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for designing and executing the full supply chain strategy across raw material sourcing, planning, logistics, and customer fulfillment all within a highly technical and regulated chemical manufacturing environment.

You will play a critical role in ensuring agility, sustainability, and resilience across a complex international supply chain, while directly supporting growth in the resin product portfolio.

What You’ll Be Leading Build and own the supply chain strategy for the resins business balancing cost, service, safety, and agility across multiple markets and geographies. Oversee all end-to-end operations: raw material procurement, production planning, inventory optimization, logistics, distribution, and customer delivery. Drive transformation by leading digitalization, automation, and advanced planning initiatives (including ERP/SAP optimization and S&OP maturity). Shape a world-class team — mentor and develop a high-performing supply chain organization across planning, logistics, and supply operations. Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Manufacturing, Procurement, and EHS teams to align supply plans with business growth and compliance needs. Lead complex supplier strategies across global raw material markets, particularly for high-value resin inputs like bisphenol A, epichlorohydrin, phthalic anhydride, and MMA. Ensure full compliance with regulatory and safety requirements, including DOT, OSHA, EPA, REACH, and TSCA. Champion ESG and sustainability goals within the supply chain improving traceability, carbon impact, and responsible sourcing.

What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry, or Business (MBA or APICS/CSCP preferred). 10+ years of supply chain experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a senior or strategic leadership role. Deep expertise in managing raw materials, logistics, and distribution within the resins or specialty chemicals sector. Strong command of global supply chain networks, risk management, and cross-border trade operations. Proven track record in leading teams, driving operational excellence, and implementing digital supply chain tools. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to operate at both executive and operational levels.
