Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Human Factors Engineer, where you'll be a key player in creating instructional materials for our client's combination products/drug delivery devices. This is a full-time, on-site role for a 1-year contract, with the possibility of renewal.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage instructional design projects, including Instructions for Use (IFU).
Create both low- and high-fidelity digital samples of instructional material.
Support usability studies in a design-test-refine-test model.
Hand-build small batches of prototypes for concept development and usability studies.
Maintain history records to capture rationale for changes in instruction development.
Support process improvement initiatives within the group and cross-functional partners.
Skills & Requirements
5-10 years of instructional design experience, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
3-5 years of experience in prototyping small volume cartons, leaflets, and lab materials.
3-5 years of experience managing design projects and/or teams.
Background in medical, healthcare, medical devices, and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Excellent time management skills and high-level attention to detail.
Ability to balance multiple detail-oriented projects.
Basic Qualifications
OR Master’s degree and 2 years of experience.
OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience.
OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience.
OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience.
