Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church (PHPC), a thriving 2,000-member congregation in North Dallas with a $5 million annual budget, seeks an experienced
Executive Director
to oversee its business and administrative operations. Reporting to the Senior Pastor and serving as a key member of the leadership team, this leader ensures excellence in
finance, facilities, contracts, and human resources
within the
Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)
framework. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to align people, systems, and resources in support of PHPC’s mission and guide one of Dallas’s most respected congregations into its next chapter of growth and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Senior Pastor, Session, and committees
to advance strategic initiatives and sustain a high-performing, mission-driven culture.
Oversee all business and administrative operations
including finance, facilities, contracts, and human resources.
Serve as the Integrator
within PHPC’s Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), aligning people, systems, and processes to achieve organizational goals.
Develop and manage budgets and business plans
to ensure financial health and resource alignment with the church’s mission.
Lead and mentor staff , fostering collaboration, accountability, and excellence across departments.
Qualifications Summary
Bachelor’s degree required;
advanced degree (MBA or CPA) preferred.
Proven experience in operations, finance, and organizational leadership , ideally within a nonprofit, church, or mission-driven environment.
Strategic thinker and skilled manager
with a record of building strong teams and systems that support growth and excellence.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills ; able to work collaboratively with staff, leadership, and congregants.
Knowledge of nonprofit financial management and HR best practices ; proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or financial software preferred.
