Senior Director Colocation Infrastructure Construction Delivery – Data Centers
Join Oracle as we develop state‑of‑the‑art data center facilities at scale and speed. The Data Center Infrastructure Construction team delivers high‑quality construction projects that meet Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s demanding standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
Responsibilities
Lead strategic vision for data center construction projects, driving alignment with long‑term organizational goals.
Oversee execution of complex construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Develop and implement long‑term standards and strategies for colocation construction projects, delivering certainty and alignment with organizational goals.
Lead and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and construction professionals, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance work environment.
Coordinate with DCIB teams for tenant fit‑out projects and manage construction oversight for colocation providers.
Maintain detailed project schedules, manage risk evaluation, and perform quality assurance to meet design specifications.
Provide ongoing colocation provider evaluation and drive continuous improvement.
Travel up to 50% or more as required; eligible for work‑from‑home/remote setup.
Required Skills
Deep knowledge of base‑building data center construction – civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, controls, and plumbing.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities for complex, fast‑paced environments.
Strategic planning and program‑level requirements development.
Experience managing large‑scale data center construction projects from inception to completion.
Leadership experience leading diverse teams to deliver on time and budget.
Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; proficiency in budget and vendor management.
Regulatory compliance knowledge and effective stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 12 years of construction project management experience focused on data center or colocation infrastructure.
Proven track record of managing large‑scale construction projects with quality control and design coordination.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills; ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits US: Hiring range $161,700 – $338,500 per year. Eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
