Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, corporate advisory experience, or 8 years with an advanced degree.

5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications

MBA degree.

4 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.

4 years of experience in people management.

2 years of experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.

About the job The Global Product Solutions Strategy and Operations (GPS StratOps) team partners closely with each Global Product Solutions (GPS) leadership team and the regional Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to drive initiatives end-to-end for the Global Business Organization (GBO). The team's responsibilities include running the GPS annual strategy planning process, defining and aligning Product Objectives and Key Results (OKR) metrics, preparing product‑specific Business Forecast Meeting (BFM) executive reviews with Google’s Chief Business Officer and product‑specific Steering Committee (SteerCo) reviews with cross‑functional business and product leaders, and leading one‑off, product‑centric strategy projects to drive outcomes in service of product positioning and activation. The Go‑to‑Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google’s Ads business runs smoothly and executes strategy flawlessly.

US base salary range: $227,000‑$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. The range is determined by role, level, and location.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach the GPS Search+ Strategy and Operations team of 5 product strategists.

Partner with the GPS Search+ leadership team to advise on product and sales strategy, and ensure operational excellence across Core Search, Lead Generation, and other areas.

Deliver high‑quality presentations for executive reviews, including BFM on Search and Apps with Google’s Chief Business Officer and SteerCo on Core Search and Lead Gen with cross‑functional leaders.

Identify and pursue opportunities for streamlined GTM operations (team structure, OKRs, executive narratives) based on regional and channel trends.

Analyze quantitative and qualitative data, derive insights, and communicate key findings to GPS Search+ leadership with executive‑ready presentations.
