Base pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr
Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice focuses on serving mid-market and large-cap private equity firms to improve operating results at portfolio companies. The Aerospace, Defense & Aviation team provides deep functional expertise and cross-functional solutions to drive EBITDA and operational improvements.

How You Will Contribute
Lead large, complex client engagements by identifying, designing, and implementing creative business solutions.
Structure and manage performance improvement plans, delivering time-sensitive projects to completion.
Synthesize insights from data and client discussions to develop findings and strategic recommendations.
Work directly with clients to implement strategic and operational recommendations.
Professional Skills
Strong written, oral and analytical skills
Sharp data analytics skills (data science, business intelligence, data visualization, etc.)
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Structured project management (time, team and workstream management)
Initiative and drive
Critical thinking skills
Ability to deliver results on‑time and on‑quality under time pressure
Flexible and creative thinking
Client relationship building
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship required due to client requirements for some of our work related to Aerospace & Defense
10+ years of relevant work experience
Previous professional consulting / operations experience with a recognized strategy consulting firm REQUIRED
Flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time
Depth in Aerospace, Defense or Aviation preferred
Recent project leadership experiences
Experience working with PE and/or PE relationships a PLUS (personal or professional)
