Description AWS is seeking an experienced Principal Strategic Account Manager to lead and continue to expand the business with one of our company’s largest and most innovative customers.
Responsibilities
Increase technology adoption and create long‑term transformational account strategies.
Build strategic relationships within the account and articulate a clear vision with impact across all business groups.
Identify, develop, negotiate, and close large‑scale technology projects to global business units.
Work with appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Solutions Architects, Business Development, Partners, and Professional Services).
Qualifications
12+ years of complex Sales, Account Management or Line‑of‑Business Management in software or cloud technology space.
10+ years experience working with and presenting to C‑level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent.
A BA or BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing, related field or equivalent (MBA preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
5+ years of experience working in a global federated enterprise working with multiple business units and influencing governance and policy is a plus.
Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record, ability to navigate across AWS and the customer in a trusted advisor/consultative approach, and establishing credibility quickly with senior level executives across the organizations.
Track record of consistent and sustained business and sales performance in complex enterprise sales.
