Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Join the University of Miami Anesthesiology Department as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to deliver expert anesthesia care for medical and surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and administer local, intravenous, spinal, and other anesthetic agents following established protocols.
Perform pre‑ and post‑anesthesia patient visits, review medical history, and determine appropriate anesthesia methods.
Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia depth, providing airway management, mechanical ventilation, and pharmacologic support as needed.
Manage emergency situations, provide basic and advanced life support, and maintain patient airway.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and physicians to develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
Document anesthesia notes and maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Nursing or a related field.
Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
Minimum 2 years of clinical anesthesia experience.
Proficiency in patient assessment, airway management, and emergency care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
