Description : Provides senior level functional support and analysis for one or more of the university's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application modules. Pursuant to the State of Texas Executive Order No. GA-48, this position researches, works on, or has access to critical infrastructure and requires the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the University infrastructure. This position requires personnel be routinely reviewed to determine whether or not criminal history or continuous connections for the government or political apparatus of a foreign adversary might prevent the employee from being able to maintain the security or integrity of the infrastructure.
Functional Analyst I-(On-site)
Responsible for complex system process analysis, design and simulation.
Understands the University's business systems and State of Texas regulations.
Responsible for analysis and re-design of current processes.
Communicates and resolves issues with functional staff, and coordinates programming requirements with technical staff.
Recommends and facilitates improvements to current policies and procedures.
Integrates new process with existing ones, and coordinates training requirements for end-users. • Recommends testing strategies and acceptance criteria.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Monitors application through testing phase and suggests improvements or changes to application lead.
Troubleshoots and assists service‑related departments with issues relating to software applications.
Updates and maintains set up tables.
Assists departments with maintaining data integrity and the set up and maintenance of security.
May design and develop training materials and conducts training sessions for end users as needed.
Creates and modifies standard and ad‑hoc queries and reports. • Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.

Leads priority meetings with UHS business owners and end users to identify critical issues and discuss system updates. Reports issues to application lead or technical staff as needed.
Analyzes system modifications and navigation infrastructure for functionality and efficiency. Creates component customization for department end users as needed.
May serve as a campus security administrator for an assigned ERP application module. Review requests and assigns appropriate security roles.
Schedules training sessions, creates job aids, and conducts end user training.
Creates and analyzes standard and ad‑hoc queries and reports.
Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
