Intervl Group is partnering with a leading climate‑tech and energy‑transition investor to identify a VP‑level commercial and GTM leader to drive growth across the distributed energy, flexibility, and VPP ecosystem.
The Opportunity
You’ll be instrumental in defining and executing GTM strategy for a portfolio that shapes the next generation of distributed energy solutions, from DER aggregation and orchestration to AI‑driven energy trading and demand‑response optimization.
Working closely with founders and investors, you will own market entry, sales architecture, and strategic partnerships that accelerate adoption and revenue growth across the U.S. energy landscape.
What We’re Looking For
8+ years’ experience in commercial leadership or GTM strategy within energy SaaS, flexibility trading, or distributed energy markets.
Deep understanding of ISO/RTO markets, demand response, DERMS, and grid‑participation models.
Demonstrable success building and leading commercial teams in early‑stage or VC‑backed businesses.
Proven ability to structure partnerships with utilities, aggregators, and large enterprise customers.
Strategic mindset with the agility to move from board‑level planning to hands‑on deal execution.
