Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders and Product Owners to elicit, analyze, and refine business needs into clear epics, features, and user stories.
Facilitate backlog grooming sessions and ensure all stories are
INVEST-compliant
(Independent, Negotiable, Valuable, Estimable, Small, Testable).
Define acceptance criteria, maintain traceability of requirements, and ensure alignment across the Agile lifecycle.
Participate in design reviews and development sessions to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
Lead UAT planning, documentation, and execution to validate product readiness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze root causes of issues and implement iterative improvements.
Coordinate defect triage and resolution with QA and development teams.
Support user training and release communications.
Identify, document, and troubleshoot system or process-related issues.
Work with relevant stakeholders to track, resolve, and communicate solutions for moderate-to-high complexity issues.
Maintain up-to-date business process documentation, user story maps, and process flows.
Ensure all Agile artifacts evolve with the product and remain accessible to stakeholders.
Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies across teams to ensure alignment.
Track and report project status, identify risks, and ensure quality and timely deliverables.
Prioritize and manage new work requests across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Research policy-related inquiries affecting Agile delivery or system behavior.
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, particularly those tied to federal healthcare programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Instead of a degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience will be considered.
Minimum
5 years of progressive experience
in business analysis, systems analysis, or related analytical roles.
Healthcare industry experience
(minimum 2 years preferred).
Proven track record working with
large Scrum teams
(3+ teams, 10–12 developers, 4–6 testers per team).
Hands-on experience creating 10–15 user stories per week
in Jira (or 21–25 stories per two-week sprint).
Strong understanding of
Agile frameworks
(Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
Experience in
UI-centric projects
(preferably web-based internal tools).
ServiceNow/ITSM
experience is not required.
Proficiency in
Agile tools
such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Exceptional
communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management
abilities.
Adept in
Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
