Lead Java Developer
will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading the implementation of microservices and APIs that power our core applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for building scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.
The Role Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java‑based microservices architecture.
Develop and maintain APIs to enable seamless integration across systems.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Product Management, QA, and DevOps to deliver high‑quality solutions.
Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, security, and performance.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Review code, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience (10+ years) in Java development, with a focus on microservices architecture.
Strong expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or similar.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills.
