As a Senior Java Developer, candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise solutions on the ICI platform. Candidate will focus on building AI-enhanced features, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability of cloud-based applications, primarily on the OCP platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including application managers and SMEs, will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and contribute to advancing contract lifecycle management (CLM) solutions.

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $110k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Design, develop, and maintain AI/ML-powered tools and features utilizing Icertis’ proprietary AI applications.

Collaborate with Application Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand business needs and translate them into technical design and implementation.

Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security in cloud environments (particularly on OCP platform).

Develop and enhance frontend components using modern frameworks like Angular and client-side scripting.

Integrate with APIs, handle configuration setup, and manage SSO and other platform integrations within the Icertis platform.

Follow Agile methodologies and incorporate DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes.

Maintain code quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

8+ years of experience in enterprise software development, with strong expertise in Java.

Demonstrable experience working with the Icertis platform, including template design, SSO, API integration, and configuration.

Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure or OCP.

Proficiency with modern front‑end frameworks such as Angular and associated scripting tools.

Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.

Preferred

Experience working with the Icertis Contract Intelligence (ICI) platform.

Familiarity with OCP containerization techniques and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
