About the Role We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Estate Planning Attorney with a proven track record of client development and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an estate planning attorney. The ideal candidate brings an established book of business, a demonstrated history of delivering sophisticated client work, and the ability to operate with a high degree of independence. This is a senior-level leadership opportunity. The attorney who joins us will have the autonomy to shape and lead the estate planning practice area, contribute to the firm’s strategic growth, and build a long-term presence within the Sacramento legal community.
Responsibilities
Lead estate planning matters from consultation to completion
Draft, review, and finalize comprehensive estate planning documents
Maintain precise and timely client records and communications
Collaborate with support staff and attorneys to ensure the highest quality client experience
Contribute to strategic business development and relationship building within the community
Engage in and enjoy relationship development activities, such as peer-to-peer networking, estate planning workshops, and informational presentations
What We’re Looking For
5+ years’ experience in estate planning
Certified Specialist designation is preferred
Established book of business and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
Strong client communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills
Professional, approachable presence and a high degree of empathy
Proven ability to work independently and lead within a growing practice
Highly competitive and negotiable starting salary commensurate with experience, existing book of business, and long-term business objectives
