Join Nuvance Health as a Medical Practice RN for a Float Department in Danbury, CT. This full‑time role supports primary medical care in a multi‑practice office. Summary

Assist physicians and physician assistants in providing primary medical care to the office patient population. The RN works Monday‑Friday 40 hours per week (8:00 am‑5:00 pm) with an optional $5,000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time externals pro‑rated for part‑time. Compensation

Salary: $33.66‑$67.05 per hour based on experience Additional Float Differential: $4.00 per hour Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000 for full‑time externals (pro‑rated for part‑time) Responsibilities

Prepare materials, supplies, equipment and the patient for the physician or physician assistant during the patient’s medical exam. Obtain the patient’s history and basic medical data such as vital signs, temperature, height and weight, vision and chief complaint. Provide direct patient care, such as ear irrigation, vaccinations, wound care and suture removal. Collect, prepare and analyze patient specimens as directed by the physician or physician assistant. Instruct the patient and family on how to perform physician‑recommended preventive care, take prescribed medication and prepare for tests. Contact the patient by telephone to provide requested follow‑up, advise them of test results or relay a physician’s instructions. Perform organizational responsibilities to achieve the practice’s and WCMG missions through total quality improvement. Fulfill all compliance responsibilities related to the position. Maintain and model Nuvance Health values. Demonstrate regular, reliable and predictable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Current RN license in CT or NY State. Minimum three years of related experience (five years preferred). One year supervisory experience required. Medical knowledge and terminology, clinical and business office functions including direct patient care. Computer skills and data entry (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook). Knowledge of insurance contracts and requirements. Verbal and written English proficiency. Associate’s degree preferred; bachelor’s degree preferred. Working Conditions

Manual skills/motor coordination and finger dexterity; some occupational risk; medium to heavy physical effort (may exert up to 35 lbs.). Physical environment generally pleasant working conditions.
