$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr About the Restaurant

The neighborhood bakery and pizzeria debuted in winter 2011 and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Grab bagels, croissants or a fresh loaf of bread to-go in the morning, then dig into classic and seasonal wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, farmers’ market vegetable dishes and Italian-inspired proteins. The Garlic Knot is a local favorite. Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Operations:

Oversee daily kitchen activities; supervise staff and scheduling; manage inventory and ordering; control food and labor costs; maintain kitchen equipment and logs; ensure deep cleaning standards. Menu Development & Quality Control:

Collaborate with the Chef on menu creation, recipe testing, ingredient sourcing and cost analysis; maintain records of menu items, accurate recipes and cost of goods sold; minimize food waste; keep accurate pickup sheets. Team Leadership & Training:

Assist the Chef with hiring, onboarding and training; provide continual coaching; develop team schedules within budget; lead daily prep lists. Safety & Compliance:

Uphold high standards of food sanitation; maintain an “A” grade from the Health Department. Administrative Duties:

Attend weekly management meetings and monthly Profit & Loss reviews; support media or charity events; contribute daily kitchen recap; schedule labor; code and upload invoices; handle food ordering and inventory. Workplace Values
