Investor Relations Analyst (Private Equity)

is hiring an Investor Relations Analyst for a leading private equity firm in New York, NY. This hybrid role supports investor relations, fundraising, and portfolio reporting. You’ll manage LP requests, prepare due diligence materials, analyze fund performance, and support investor communications.
Location: New York, NY
Type: Perm (Contingency)
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000/year + bonus
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid).
Responsibilities
Investor Relations: Manage daily investor requests and deliver tailored analyses, updates, and communications for existing and prospective LPs.
Fundraising Support: Coordinate DDQs, RFPs, and investor materials to assist with ongoing capital-raising initiatives.
Performance Reporting: Analyze fund performance, portfolio metrics, and attribution data to produce monthly and quarterly reports.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Investment, Operations, and Accounting teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in fund reporting.
Process Improvement: Enhance data management, reporting tools, and CRM systems to strengthen investor engagement and efficiency.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field required.
Experience: 1-4 years of experience in investment banking, advisory, or investor relations within private equity or alternative investments.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel (macros and modeling a plus) with preferred experience in CRM or performance analytics platforms.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with private equity fund structures, investor reporting, and fundraising processes.
Skills & Attributes: Analytical, detail-oriented, strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment.
