Overview Speechify recently grew to become the #18 productivity app in the App Store and received Apple’s 2025 Design Award for inclusivity. We need a senior iOS engineer to support a growing user base and help ship new, high‑impact features.
What You’ll Do
Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
Ship production code and deliver features that scale to millions of users.
Partner with product, design, and data teams to shape the roadmap.
Maintain and improve the existing complex app architecture.
An Ideal Candidate Should Have
Experience scaling products to a large user base.
Track record of engineering from inception to traction.
Customer obsession – constantly obsessed about the best experience.
Product thinking – make thoughtful decisions that support internal teams and designers.
Speed – ship quickly while making trade‑offs.
Focus – thrive in a fast‑growth remote startup.
Technical skills – Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD, Fastlane, SOLID principles, Git.
