to a full‑time Contract Review Resolution Specialist role at Acadian Air Med in Lafayette, LA. Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm.
Summary of Duties
Review monthly contracts, subsidies, purchase orders, facility contract, verbal contracts, standby contract, etc.
Review contracted CBSs and non‑contracted CBSs.
Run reports to gather all transports covered under the CBSs: ensure billing criteria are met, reprice charges, and invoice is in the correct billing cycle.
Maintain the summary of contract listing.
Pre‑verification on all standby accounts.
Review transports that missed initial facility edits but meet facility contract criteria and may be billable to the facility.
Prepare billings daily and monthly for hospitals, nursing homes, private industry, governmental agencies, and van transports.
Reconcile facility deposits.
Review unacceptable or questionable payments.
Review overpayments and process refunds to facilities.
Handle inbound calls relating to facilities.
Correspond with facilities.
Prepare monthly reports for administration review.
Run ancillary reports as requested, such as utilization for respective facilities.
Provide education and training to facility unit staff.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Two or more years of facility contract billing experience, or an associate’s degree and three or more years of medical billing experience.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Problem‑solving abilities.
Excellent communication and customer‑relation skills.
Understanding of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regulations, including but not limited to the SNF Consolidated Billing Act, PPS, Hospital Part‑A billing requirements.
Ability to adhere to productivity goals and departmental guidelines.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and work independently.
