Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Project Engineer to lead and deliver projects across data centers, enterprise, and retail environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in structured cabling, network hardware deployment, and infrastructure integration, ensuring timely and high‑quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple customer projects across data center and enterprise spaces, ensuring timely completion and adherence to scope.
Pull and terminate Cat6/6a and fiber structured cabling systems.
Rack and stack network devices, patch cables, and decommission legacy equipment.
Deploy fully built racks in data centers and install all required cross‑connect cabling.
Install and test Wireless Access Points (WAPs) and ensure cabling is dressed neatly.
Collaborate with local partners and field engineers on complex projects.
Mentor and train junior team members for independent field execution.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor onsite, upholding both client and company standards.
Provide as‑built documentation, redline updates, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Review assigned projects, BOMs, and scopes using internal tools to identify and resolve potential issues.
Stay updated and continuously expand knowledge in routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, compute, storage, AV, and power systems.
Maintain professionalism and strong communication with all customer stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5+ years of field experience delivering infrastructure projects for large enterprise customers.
Strong understanding of structured cabling systems, both copper and fiber.
Certifications such as CNCI, BICSI, City & Guilds, or BTEC are desirable.
Proficient in using copper and fiber testing tools: OTDR, Fluke, Network Analyzer, Wire Map.
Ability to interpret MOPs, Patch Plans, Cable Run Lists, and Schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and fault isolation skills in mission‑critical environments.
Experience in logical network configuration — installing firmware, pushing configs, and troubleshooting via CLI/GUI.
Familiarity with wireless survey tools such as Ekahau, Airmagnet, or Hamina.
Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
CCNA / CWNA certification or equivalent technical knowledge.
Experience with VAR or System Integrator (SI) environments.
Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
Strong customer‑facing and problem‑solving abilities.
