City Rochester State MN Remote YES Responsibilities

Design and implement core control plane components for multi-cloud environments, including identity, policy, networking, and resource orchestration. Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules using Terraform to support repeatable and secure cloud deployments. Build and maintain APIs, SDKs, and automation workflows to enable self-service provisioning and governance. Integrate cloud-native services with centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting platforms. Collaborate with security and compliance teams to embed policy-as-code and enforce guardrails. Participate in architectural reviews, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to internal documentation, standards, and reusable patterns for cloud platform engineering. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ experience or Associate’s degree with 5 years’ experience, or HS/GED with 7 years of experience in a large, complex organization. Experience deploying and operating on a public cloud framework. Strong analytical ability and data-driven mindset. Experience with cloud deployment, technical and security architecture, database architecture, virtualization, software design, software development, IP networking, Linux, Agile development, SCRUM, application lifecycle management, .NET, programming languages, technical solution architecture, SOA, Windows Azure, Amazon AWS. Certification in cloud engineering required within 12-24 months. Preferred Qualifications

Hands‑on experience with two major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience building and managing control plane components (e.g., service catalogs, policy engines, orchestration layers). Familiarity with Kubernetes, container images and orchestration. Understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security best practices. Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code principles. Experience with IaC orchestration tools (e.g. Spacelift, Scalr). Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise for source control, CI/CD, and automation. Strong scripting skills (Python, Go, Bash). Exposure to Open Policy Agent (OPA), secret management tools. Experience with Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform. Background in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare). Benefits Highlights

Compensation: $110,614 - $154,856 per year Schedule: Full Time (Monday - Friday 8am-5pm) Hours/Pay Period: 80 Weekend Schedule: On call on weekends International Assignment: No Remote: 100% remote within the United States, may come on campus once a month for culture and connect activities.
