Position Overview We are now seeking a Senior level Actuary to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in the expansion of the company’s actuarial department. Job Title

On-site in Glen Allen, VA Responsibilities

Ongoing product line analyses of rates and results. Pricing and reserving for product lines. Rate change monitoring. Programming to automate actuarial and data-related tasks. Data-sharing with executive team and staff underwriters. Work cross-functionally to aid in the development of internal tools and products. Respond to ad hoc requests from product line and executive leaders. Other actuarial work as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, data science, statistics, finance, or related subjects. 7+ years of relevant actuarial experience. FCAS designation or close to obtaining FCAS. Required programming experience with SQL. Required programming experience with Python or R. Property & casualty experience required. Excess & surplus lines experience is preferred. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Excellent analytical ability. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Benefits Overview
