About Prellis Biologics

Prellis Biologics integrates human biology with machine learning to redefine how antibody therapeutics are discovered. Using proprietary 3D-printed human lymph node organoids, we rapidly generate diverse human antibody repertoires for discovery and optimization.

To accelerate this mission, we are expanding our Computational Biology group with a bioinformatician who can bridge

next-generation sequencing (NGS)

and

structural analysis —turning complex data into actionable insight for our antibody discovery pipeline.

Position Summary

We are seeking a

Bioinformatician

with expertise across

NGS and structural bioinformatics

to support the discovery and characterization of novel antibody candidates.

This role will combine

repertoire-level sequencing analysis

(bulk and single-cell) with

computational modeling of antibody structures and complexes

using both publicly available and proprietary tools.

A central focus of this position is

data communication —building clear, intuitive analyses and visualizations that connect sequence, structure, and experimental results for scientists and leadership across Prellis.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for

antibody repertoire and single-cell sequencing , including QC, alignment, clonotype assignment, and VH/VL pairing.

Perform

structural modeling and comparative analysis

of antibody frameworks, CDR loops, and antigen interfaces to support engineering and developability assessment.

Integrate sequence- and structure-level data to generate

mechanistic insights

into binding, folding, and diversity.

Develop

visualizations and dashboards

that clearly communicate data relationships and experimental outcomes.

Collaborate closely with wet-lab and computational scientists to guide candidate selection and design hypotheses.

Ensure reproducibility and traceability of analyses through version-controlled, documented workflows.

Contribute to continuous improvement of internal data infrastructure and cross-functional reporting tools.

Qualifications

Ph.D. or M.S. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biophysics, or related field , with 2+ years (for M.S.) or equivalent experience in NGS and protein structure analysis.

Hands-on experience with

NGS data analysis , ideally including repertoire or immune profiling workflows.

Demonstrated ability to perform

structural modeling, comparative analysis, and visualization

of proteins or complexes.

Strong programming skills in

Python and/or R , including use of scientific libraries (Biopython, pandas, matplotlib, Seaborn, etc.).

Familiarity with

Linux environments, version control (Git) , and workflow automation or containerization.

Excellent communication and visualization skills—able to distill complex results into concise, actionable summaries.

Collaborative mindset and comfort working across experimental and computational teams.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in

antibody discovery, repertoire analysis, or structural immunology .

Familiarity with

developability and biophysical risk assessment .

Experience designing

interactive dashboards or visual reports

for data-driven decision-making.

Exposure to

cloud or GPU-based computing environments .

What You Can Expect From Us
