Marketing Coordinator, Client Engagement

Our prestigious, globally recognized law firm is hiring an experienced Marketing Coordinator to support client engagement initiatives in its New York office. The coordinator works closely with lawyers, marketing colleagues, and other office functions to plan and execute integrated marketing efforts that elevate the firm’s profile and help lawyers connect with clients. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and execute firm-sponsored and hosted client events, identifying opportunities aligned with office/regional practices and industries. Develop invitation lists, secure approvals, create and distribute invitations, and process registrations. Coordinate event production, pre-event planning, and post-event debrief meetings; define event metrics to measure ROI. Manage office/regional client entertainment activities, including ticket asset management and allocation system. Identify and document business development use of firm tickets; track usage and prepare utilization reports. Draft and review lawyer biographies for the website; liaise with lawyers to produce and distribute internal and external marketing communications. Draft regional news announcements and other content for the intranet, website, and social media platforms. Identify speaking and credentialing opportunities; assist in producing required materials. Assist in planning and executing marketing initiatives that support the firm’s Client Firm Women and Diversity programs. Leverage firm technology (Salesforce, InterAction, Foundation) to document and track marketing activity. Collaborate with the Creative team to produce marketing materials related to sponsorships and advertisements; assist in selection, procurement, inventory, and distribution of firm promotional items. Perform research and data collection on clients, contacts, industries, and competitors; assist in training lawyers and staff on marketing tools. Support special projects as requested by Marketing Department management and regional lawyers. REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Minimum of two (2) years of marketing, business development, program planning, or related experience. Excellent writing and proofreading skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Marketing or business development experience in a law firm or professional services organization. Working knowledge of customer relationship, pipeline, and experience management databases such as InterAction, Salesforce, and Foundation. Familiarity with research tools and law firm ranking publications. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong organizational skills; attention to detail; good judgment. Strong interpersonal communication and relationship building skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure. Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities; ability to work harmoniously with others and maintain confidentiality. BENEFITS
