The Opportunity We’re seeking a
Director, IT Operations
in Oklahoma City to provide strategic and operational leadership for Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations, ensuring alignment of IT services with business strategy and driving transformation initiatives.
What We’re Offering
Salary Target:
$180,000 - $200,000 base salary.
Benefits include:

Work Model:
Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
What You’ll Do This role provides vision and operational oversight for multiple IT functional areas, including Infrastructure, Service Desk, Network and Telecom, and Security Operations. Your top three core responsibilities are:
Strategic and Operational Leadership
for Infrastructure and Operations (including Cloud). Set vision and lead day‑to‑day operations. Drive transformation initiatives, such as IT Service Management adoption and cloud‑first strategies.
Operational Cybersecurity, Risk and Compliance . Oversee operational cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Coordinate IT audits and risk assessments, implementing remediation strategies.
Talent and Cultural Development . Provide inspirational leadership, coaching, and development for a team of ~20. Foster an inclusive, high‑performance culture of innovation and accountability.
What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is a strong people leader and strategic thinker with demonstrated experience in cloud/SaaS operations, security, and operational modernization. Established knowledge of these technologies is required:
Microsoft Ecosystem:
Server, Security, Azure, Windows, SQL, and EA agreements.
Infrastructure & Telecom:
RedHat, Cisco, VDI, and PureCloud Telephony Platforms.
Governance & Security:
Cloud‑based security tools, ITIL/ITSM capabilities, IT Governance, and IT Financial Management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field required.
10+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing IT operations across multiple domains.
Demonstrated experience leading cloud migration (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS) and IT service management transformation.
Proven experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance.
Strong background in budgeting, vendor management, and strategic planning.
Advanced leadership skills, including talent development, organizational change management, and executive‑level communication.
ITIL, CISSP, Azure/AWS Cloud certifications preferred.
