Job Summary

The Sr. Analyst Port Analytics is a hybrid operational and analytical role supporting the global port operations strategy across all Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings brands (Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises). This role provides data-driven insights, financial and performance analysis, and operational support to enhance port logistics, vendor performance, cost efficiency, and guest experience. The analyst collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to support seamless port call execution and continuous process improvement. Position Responsibilities

Analyze port call data, turnaround performance, vendor metrics, and operational KPIs across global ports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, supporting contract negotiations and planning efforts. Support itinerary planning, port feasibility, and safety studies through data modeling and scenario analysis; assist with port assessments, berth utilization, and operational flow optimization to enhance turnaround efficiency and guest satisfaction. Liaise with Port Services to ensure operational visibility into vendor services, port fees, shore tenders, shuttles, and ancillary costs, while supporting annual budget planning and long-range forecasting. Generate and share reports on operational trends (by region, provider, and performance) to support informed decision-making and service optimization across port operations. Track and report Medical- and weather-driven PVSAs, itinerary deviation requests, guest deviations, and special parking requests, while supporting mitigation efforts for related fines and penalties. Maintain and enhance tracking tools for itinerary changes due to weather, medical emergencies, political unrest, or other disruptions impacting guest experience and operations. Develop and manage tracking systems for crane requests, operations, and invoicing accuracy to support port logistics and financial oversight. Collaborate cross-functionally with Hotel, Security, Logistics, Air, Finance, Procurement, and IT teams to align operational strategies with broader company objectives. Assist with vendor RFP processes by providing data analysis to evaluate proposals based on historical performance and financial impact. Participate in special projects including sustainability initiatives, shore power integration, port expansion, traffic studies, and support for field visits, audits, 360-mapping, surveys, and port evaluations as needed. DEGREE TYPE:

Bachelor's Degree FIELD(S) OF STUDY:

Business, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or a related field EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years of experience in business analytics, financial analysis, or port and maritime operations. COMPETENCIES & SKILLS: Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and business intelligence tools; experience with SQL or other data query languages is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset. Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to distill complex data into actionable insights. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Willingness to travel as needed, including ship visits and port evaluations. Prior experience in the cruise industry or port logistics. Understanding of Port agency, stevedoring, port agreements. Experience working in cross-functional or matrixed environments. Familiarity with operational databases and reporting platforms. Seniority level
