Position Summary The Assistant Director supports the Program Director in the Providence County program by:
Hiring, training, motivating, and supervising staff
Communicating weekly performance to the Director
Performing intakes and coordinating participant staffing
Managing the delivery of participant service hours, ensuring compliance with YAP and referring authority requirements
Upholding a strength-based, culturally competent, and unconditional care philosophy
Applying knowledge of mental health practices, juvenile justice systems, and budgetary concepts (preferred)
Engaging in creative and proactive planning
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Three to five years of related experience/training in youth services, juvenile justice, community programs, or program development
Experience working with youth and families
At least one year of management/supervision experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft O365; experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance; travel may be required
Bilingual/Spanish speaking skills are a plus
