Lead maritime practice oversight for Alaska, client management, business development, program and staff development, project management of large multi-discipline projects. Business Development
Client manager for key clients such as Alaska DOT&PF. Promote HDR services, collaborate with technical staff. Partner with Market Sector and Operations Managers on strategies, monitor performance metrics, manage resources. Develop client relationships, proposals, negotiate contracts. Participate in industry associations, company ambassador. Staff Development
Coordinate area business development and technical staff. Drive technical excellence, coordinate technical staff to support program and marketing efforts. Identify needs and opportunities for new and improved technical services and products. Qualifications
10+ years in planning/engineering, majority Maritime & Waterfront Infrastructure. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning or related field. Engineering registration in Alaska. Experience in strategic marketing programs for planning/engineering services. Experience managing client relationships and program/project pursuits in Maritime industry. Experience in overall staff development, recruiting and career path advancement. Experience with industry associations, visible profile in market sector. Cooperative with Area and Regional Operations, Market Sector, Business Group leadership. Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing maritime structures in Alaska. Record in initiating and managing market growth, marketing, business development. Leadership on complex seaport, private terminal, coastal resilience projects. Excellent written and verbal communication, with examples of technical writing. Location & Employment
