Schedule/Location: Full Time, Hybrid (Outpatient Clinic & School Based)

About the Role Arbour Counseling Services provides care to all ages, races, gender identities and expressions, bringing diversity, creativity, and clinical growth to your career! This is a great opportunity for Licensed Clinicians or Master’s Level Clinicians working towards their licensure in our Outpatient Program in Allston, MA. Hybrid Therapists split their time in our outpatient behavioral health clinic in Allston as well as in a partnered school in Boston. As a hybrid therapist, you will be serving a diverse caseload of clients.

The hybrid therapist will have opportunities to provide individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. Spending part of your week in a Boston based elementary, middle, or high school offers therapists a new setting and context in which to see youth and provides wonderful opportunities for collaboration with teachers, school social workers, and guardians. Hybrid clinicians deliver mental health services to children and adults with a variety of needs including trauma, anxiety, and depression, all within a trauma‑informed care model.

Essential Responsibilities

Provide individual, family and group therapy sessions

Support clients through collaboration with other medical service providers, state agencies, other mental health services (including crisis services), and other community agencies and resources

Individuals are responsible for managing their own schedule

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field from an accredited college or university

Need to have completed an Internship during Masters Program to obtain 45 credits

Required license eligibility with: LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT

CANS Certification preferred (also able to obtain after hiring if needed)

Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem‑solving and practical skills

Familiarity with support groups

Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight

Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds

Excellent time management skills to maintain appointments and timely record keeping

Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation

Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre‑employment documentation
