Base pay range:
$23.00 - $35.00/hr

Summary The Sheet Metal/Structures Mechanic is responsible for the service, repair, and overhaul of aircraft to ensure airworthiness, working under minimal supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Repair, modify, replace or rebuild aircraft component structures.
Use specialized tools such as blind rivet guns, brakes, stretchers, etc.
Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings, and other specifications.
Develop repair schemes utilizing SRM or engineering data, conduct operational tests.
Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel and leadership.
Accurately clock time to jobs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Sheet Metal Specialized Tasks
Repair & modify flight control surfaces and components.
Utilize OEM and Engineering drawings to modify aircraft structure.
Complete specialized tasks such as flap peening, cold working, etc.
Fabricate repair parts using special shop tooling.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two years of related commercial/military aircraft maintenance experience.
Airframe or Airframe & Powerplant License preferred.
Physical Effort and Dexterity Required ability to sit, use hands and arms, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl. Lift up to 25 lbs routinely, up to 50 lbs occasionally. Handle and climb ladders and aircraft stairs.
Compensation Base pay range $23.00 - $35.00, not including bonuses or benefits. Annual performance bonus eligible.
