Establish validation test plans for HVAC units, specifications, reliability testing and perform the tests in lab per the established plan UL & AHRI regulatory knowledge and application to product testing and specification (AHRI, UL, ETL) Product development based on customer requirements and current or future regulations and transferring those requirements down to component level Test prototypes, write development test reports and document results according to company rules Oversee product development tasks including testing, assembly & manufacturing Communicate development and test validation results timely Establish & deliver development test engineer tasks per planned project milestones and scopes Own and resolve technical problems or provide prompt responses to address issues and escalate as needed Be a team player within cross-function teams, understand multidiscipline needs (Engineering, Marketing, Assembly, Logistics, Purchasing, etc.) and support them as needed Adhere to safety & security protocols Follow-up on test plans, ratings, durability and reliability Quality focus Technical risk assessment tools (FMEA, DRBFM) knowledge and experience Knowledge and experience on DFMA (design for manufacturing and assembly) Proactively identify and address product & project issues Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines (Mechanical / Mechatronics preferred) Strong organizational & interpersonal skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience testing prototypes and writing reports to document results Develop specifications, detailing and assembly drawings for products and equipment Proficient in Microsoft Office Additional Information
