Overview
Position primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the Production and Service Department, ensuring residential and commercial roof projects are properly assessed, scoped, ordered and built to local codes and warranty standards. Responsibilities
Supports the Company by completing all tasks assigned in a time efficient and professional manner. Communicate effectively at all times with all involved parties both internal and external Represent Vertical in a professional and courteous manner at all times Demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of all roofing systems both steep and low slope to include Asphalt Shingles, Tile, Stone Coated Steels, TPO, EPDM, PVC, Rolled Roofing, SBS, etc. Provide adequate training and oversight to team members so that they can complete repairs competently and without supervision/limited support When needed, assist in the transportation of Company assets, including but not limited to construction materials, safety and construction equipment, ladders, tools, trailers, vehicles, etc. Manage scheduling and asset management to complete internal work orders, repair work orders and roof maintenance items in a timely manner. Complete accurate and fairly priced in-field and office bids for estimates for new repairs. Coordinate scheduling of appointments with project managers and business owners. Maintain all vehicles, equipment, tools and work spaces in use for this position. Exhibit a high level of customer service and professionalism when dealing with any person associated with the company, including property owners, other employees, city officials, crews, etc. Review project sites for workmanship completion and adherence to company installation expectations. Position may involve lifting of heavy items in excess of 100lbs, use of ladders and other equipment, working at height and other hazards typical of this role. Work closely with the residential and commercial team to enhance their abilities. Approve all job submissions for production. Accurately order materials for each job. Maintain knowledge of local codes and ensure installation requirements are met. Order permits, schedule crews and maintain the production calendar. Review installation quality and train subcontractors (if needed). Maintain appropriate level of subcontractors for work load. Verify new crews. Manage installations on-site to ensure quality. Train techs in proper installation, repair techniques (if needed). Stay current on steep slope products and installation enhancements. Obtain certifications from manufacturers. Supervise and assign workload to repair team members. May be required to assist in resolving Customer Service-related issues. Oversee procurement and use of roofing materials, ensuring they are of high quality and properly stored. Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and change orders. Manages Commercial and Residential Production. Manages scheduling and assigning work orders to repair techs. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Compensation Base
75K-90K, based on experience Benefits
