CT Technologist
Advanced Radiology Consultants invites you to join our dedicated team in
Stratford, CT
as a CT Technologist. This role supports our mission to deliver exceptional patient care and build lasting trust with referring physicians.
Mission We are committed to building and maintaining the trust of our referring physicians while providing our patients with exceptional care. Our independent practice is one of the largest in the tri‑state area, staffed by highly experienced radiologists and a caring, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Operate complex CT equipment and scanners, selecting technical factors to achieve high‑quality images at the lowest possible dose.
Manage multiple power injectors, cardiac monitors, and other CT equipment safely and efficiently.
Work with IT and engineering teams to maintain RIS/PACS hardware and software, ensuring optimal system performance.
Schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance, service calls, and vendor interactions.
Communicate with referring physicians to define imaging preferences, obtain agreements, and ensure proper image delivery.
Screen patients for contrast use, review exam requests, and recommend appropriate protocols.
Act professionally with patients, families, and staff, fostering a respectful, collaborative environment.
Remain flexible to work additional shifts or other locations as needed.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy, CT technology, and 3‑D reconstruction techniques.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient service excellence.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with RIS/PACS systems.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced, professional setting.
Self‑motivated with a desire to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Educational Requirements College degree preferred; ARRT (CT) and CT certification required. Valid CT state license necessary.
Schedule Flexible daytime hours Monday through Friday.
