Financial Advisor – Retirement Planning We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Advisor to join our team and specialize in retirement planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial planning principles, investment strategies, and retirement planning products. The role will involve providing comprehensive financial advice to clients, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales goals. No cold calling required!

Objectives

Educate and advise pre‑retirees and retirees (50+) on insurance‑based financial strategies, including annuities, life insurance, and long‑term care solutions.

Develop customized retirement plans that reduce market risk, provide guaranteed income, and minimize tax liabilities.

Build and maintain long‑term client relationships based on trust, attentiveness, and consistent service.

Convert pre‑qualified leads into clients by conducting 5–10 sales appointments per week and following up diligently on seminar‑generated prospects.

Actively participate in company‑hosted dinner seminars and outreach events to expand client engagement and acquisition.

Collaborate with financial planning professionals to integrate insurance strategies into comprehensive wealth management plans.

Ensure compliance with all industry regulations while managing client portfolios and recommending suitable products.

Utilize CRM software to manage leads, track appointments, and document client interactions effectively.

Stay current on industry trends, financial strategies, and insurance products to deliver best‑in‑class solutions.

Consistently meet or exceed daily KPIs and monthly/quarterly sales targets while demonstrating the firm’s values of discipline, accountability, attentiveness, teamwork, and a positive attitude.

Self‑motivated and results‑oriented with the persistence to follow through on leads, appointments, and sales targets.

Skilled at establishing trust and rapport with clients, creating long‑term partnerships grounded in empathy and credibility.

Ability to uncover client needs by asking the right questions and explaining solutions clearly and persuasively.

Works well with colleagues to integrate insurance solutions into comprehensive financial plans.

Consistently follows through on commitments, meets KPIs, and manages time effectively.

Education and Experience

2+ years of experience in Financial Planning or other related experience is highly preferred.

Health and Life Insurance Lic

Compensation & Benefits

First year OTE - $100k-200k annual

Second year OTE - $200k-300k+ annual

Base salary + commission

401k

PTO - Two weeks

9 company observed holidays

Summer Fridays - Half days on Fridays in the summer

Ongoing training and development

Physical Requirements
